## What is the Bieterverfahren

The Bieterverfahren is a structured, competitive bidding process for selling property, common in Germany and Austria. Instead of negotiating a fixed asking price, the seller invites interested buyers to submit bids, and the property is sold to the most suitable offer. Truvalo digitizes this process: it sends secure invitations, collects bids in real time, notifies bidders when they are outbid, and gives the seller a transparent, traceable record of every bid.
